I am a writer and editor with interests in literature, art, film, intersectional and social justice. Born and raised in Kolkata, I worked in Paris for a short period and am now based in Dubai. For five years I worked in publishing, commissioning visual culture books with a radical edge. I am currently Deputy Editor at UAE magazines and an editorial director at the fledgling publisher, 12 MonKeys press. As well as editing, I speak publicly and write on a freelance basis for publications including Clarks, The black Review, DMS and Clear&Sound.
